Billy's is the best. My friend had a problem with his bike while we were out biking Ft. Custer a few years ago and Billy fixed it for him on the spot. No parts needed but my buddy owed for labor and had no money at the time. Billy told him to just come back and pay when he had the money (which he did). Bike shops are normally run by people who talk down to you - some young kid with a flat brimmed hat behind the counter, or maybe a guy who pictures himself as a triathlon superstar or something. Billy does a great job and you should take your business to him even if you are going a bit out of your way.
Most experienced service in SW MI. If you want to buy shiny new stuff, check out Pedal in Kzoo. But for a mechanic with decades know-how to re-tap your aluminum Cannondale frame and find a derailleur just like your old one to fit, go see Billy. Learning stuff is a free bonus there.
